In practice, it means three Google Calendar agendas, a shared Excel spreadsheet, text messages to swap slots, and every other Tuesday, two practitioners standing in front of the same room. This real case from a practice in Brussels is what led us to develop a custom Odoo module: Kameos Kine Booking.

1. The shared-schedule headache
Before the app, the practice juggled one Google Calendar per practitioner and an Excel sheet of "who books what this month". Nobody had the same version. Rooms were sometimes double-booked, sometimes empty while a physio was looking for somewhere to work. The result: 5 minutes lost with every patient checking availability, and a constant feeling of "I'm stepping on my colleagues' toes".

3. Requesting a swap in one click, without leaving WhatsApp
The most frequent scenario: a physio needs a slot that belongs to a colleague. Before: a text, a call, waiting, the other person goes to edit the spreadsheet, forgets, perhaps turns up anyway. The art of losing half a day for 30 minutes of room time.

The slot holder receives the message, clicks the link, enters their PIN code, confirms — and the slot is freed and booked for the requester. 4. A dedicated mobile app, not one more Odoo menu
